Dear Excellency Mr. Herijanto Soeprapto

Thank you for the very pleasant meeting we had the other day at your residence, regarding the Javanese Food Festival. We are very grateful knowing that we can count on the support of the Indonesian Embassy to make this upcoming festival a successful one.

By means of this letter I would like to officially request for your support for the successful launch of the Indonesian Food Festival to be held at the Sheraton Utama Hotel from the 25th of July till the 3rd of August 2006.

As discussed, we would be grateful if you could assist us in any way with the following:

Support with the visual and decoration of the restaurant and lobby, by means of:
- Arts, crafts, statues, woodcarvings, furniture’s, masks, vases, linen, paintings, drawings, musical instruments, other items which represent the Javanese culture and traditions.
- Showcasing of traditional Javanese costumes as well as use of traditional Javanese costumes for the service staff at the restaurant and hostesses.

Promotional material of Java as a tourist destination in terms of:
- Collateral, advertising, posters, flyers, magazines, CD-Rom for LCD (3-dimensional movie).

Entertainment:
- In the form of “Live Music” or Cultural, Traditional Dance performance. We would be pleased to provide meals for the group of entertainers, which are proposed.


As further follow up we will keep in touch with Bapak Muhamad Nazirwan Hafiz as a main contact person from Indonesian Embassy



Lastly, we are very honored and pleased that His Excellency H.E. Mr. Herijanto Soeprapto has agreed to attend with a personal speech on the opening night of the Javanese Food Festival. We will provide you in the coming days with the relevant information on this event.

Please find bellow details and conditions for the Javanese Food Promotion at Sheraton Utama Hotel, Brunei Darussalam.

Promotion date
The promotion is planned on 25th August till 3rd September 2006.
(Chef should come in 2 to 3 days prior to event)

Menu
Will be arranged prior to event – with Executive Chef Ken Yeong

Market list
All products are available here in Brunei (please be advised that we work only with Halal products) only when require we will advise to bring some Indonesian product from Yogyakarta

Transportation - Air Ticket
We will responsible for a return flight from Yogyakarta to Jakarta (please use the budget carrier, original ticket and receipt is require to claim the expenses) . For a return ticket Jakarta to Brunei will be provided with Royal Brunei Airline. Please advise as soon as possible flight detail for chef.

Please note your associate will be allowed only 100kg (Jakarta-Brunei-Jakarta). Only when require we may ask to bring some decoration from Yogyakarta

We will be responsible for airport transfer for the chef (to pick up and send them back to and from Brunei airport).

Accommodation
Your employee will be lodged at our hotel FOC. He will be provided with 3 meals a day in Staff Cafeteria. Laundry will be complimentary. They will be entitled to, one (1) phone call to his family in his hotel room or Chef Office for 5mins. Any additional minute will be charge to them at cost.

Uniforms
Please bring own uniform

Safety
We will be responsible for his safety in general. However self preventive safety should be done individually.

Salary
Chef salary will be paid for rate of B $ 35 per day. The salary / benefits during the Javanese Food Festival for the chef will be paid directly to him on his last day of service with Sheraton Utama.

Allowance (pocket money)
No allowance will be provided

Miscellaneous
Additional to the above mentioned they will be other related charges pertaining to various details; visas, passport, airport taxes, etc.
