Sabah East Malaysia 15th November 2010,Kundasang is a village in Sabah. It is located about 6 kilometres away from Kinabalu park and is renowned for its vegetable and flowers market which is open seven days a week. It is the closest village to Mount Kinabalu and has a panoramic view of the Mountain. Has cool and fresh weather it offers, a big contrast from the hot humid lowland Sabah. It is populated mainly by the native Dusun ethnic and a very small population of chinese people Almost all the shops are operated by locals. Its take 2 hours drive from our house in Turaan to reach Kundasang. Worth to visit places : Nursery/Rose garden we spent 2 hours here, vegetable market, golf course, resort around the mountain.
