VANUATU, 22nd April 2009 – Vanuatu Tourism Office supported by Iririki Island Resort & Spa, recently host three days two night familiarization for two journalists from New Zealand, Aim to drive and encourage tourism in Vanuatu as well as a destination.

Namely John Crystal is a freelance travel agent based in Wellington, New Zealand. He is also an Award-winning writer of 2008 in Cathay Pacific Travel writer of the year. John is a winner of story he wrote for “A quite night out in waiting “published in the dominion post, April 2007. Grant Sheehan is an Award-winning photographer who begins working life as survey draughtsman, making maps. However his great love has always been photography and for over the past twenty-five years. Over that time his photographic skills have been focused on architecture-exterior of building and interior-travel. With numerous photos essay on places and people from Africa to Antarctica, plus landscape and food assignments his photograph have been published in international magazines, brochures.

Both journalists were given a warm welcome by Sumantri Endang, the Rooms Division Manager who later host the dinner at Watermark restaurant.
