The Empire Hotel and Country Club plays a part in promoting tourism and one of its initiatives to support local interests is exhibiting local paintings created by Brunei's very own talented artists. From July 15 to 25 this year, the hotel will be featuring exquisite local paintings, available for everyone to view, stated a press release.
This 10-day exhibition will display over 100 local paintings showing the beauty of Brunei through their works of art. This includes beautiful views of Brunei, flora and fauna, nature, living things, calligraphy arts, as well as portraits and contemporary arts. These extraordinary paintings use various tools, such as slate pencils, charcoals, watercolours and others.

The hotel is proud to support such an event as to enrich the community with the beauty of art, as well as to encourage tourism and keep local economies thriving and growing. In addition, it promotes collaboration and fosters an appreciation for cultural differences. This exhibition will be held at Level One of the Main Atrium Lobby from 11am to 9pm.
