Bandar Seribegawan 8 December 2007. Everything communicate is the first module from The Sheraton Experience which contents of 6 module all together. The previous 2 Modules were completed to trained from The Brand immersion.

The objective of EVERYTHING COMMUNICATES module are at the end of the training each of participants will be able to understand how everything communicates through place,process and people. Differentiate transaction and interaction and participant able to apply how everything communicate throughout the Cycle of Service. To achieve the goal agenda been set up which will cover PLACE, discussed and share how environment is play an important part which service is delivered to the guest and one way to think about the place is think about 5 sense which is sight,sound,touch,smell,taste. Then PROCESS is invisible connection between guest and the brand through the process. Training also invite participant to feel free to adjust or modify her/her current and being creative in process of their working area to be improved and much effective of course with the following consideration impact the guest experience,associates,property and Sheraton Brand. On subject of cycle of service were been enlarge to more area instead of 10 touchpoint of guest experience in order to be more understand for participants their were coming from different department and differerent level of understanding, even thought the module is design for front of the house but we also consider heart of the house to join the aim is to build total worl class brand. On PEOPLE is cover how our guest remember all the time, research shown 85 % on the comment or feed back whether good or not good comment mentioned about people followed by explanation on how important is the first impression and the last impression. Video transaction and interaction also show to get better understanding of the participant. And on Field experience onbesve other department or other area in the hotel which was the last activity on this module. Training end with reflection and call to action. Training held in 3 language English,Bahasa Indonesia and Malaysia. The following comment just few to mentioned stated on the evaluation sheet: Effective explained the program content,the best about training is that i can make the process,place and people. Very best teacher give training. Saya berpuas hati Bapak Sumantri mengajar or I am satisfied with Sumantri the instructor you are the best!WOW......and so on and so on very interesting. Training started at 9 am to 12.30 for Day 1 morning class on 8 December 2007 with 11 participant and 1.30 pm to 5.15pm for afternoon class with 9 participant. On the Sheraton Experience Nanetta joint to lead 2 other classes as well as ken.

Sumantri - Award & Reward - Year end get together

Bandar Seribegawan, 28 December 2006. Executive committee member of Sheraton Utama Hotel Brunei Darussalam recently get together at The Empire Hotel and Country Club. The hotel which claimed 6 start hotel is provide accommodation ranging from normal hotel rooms,suites and villa type. Lead by Datin Zainah Bujang the General Manager of Sheraton Utama Hotel , my self and other Executive Committee member were experience a wonderful short afternoon in Villa no 4. No agenda being held, is just relax and chit chat out of the routine work issue. Delicious food, fresh drink were also provide include pastry from the hotel. Gifts were given by Datin Zainah bujang to each EXCOMs in between birthday celebration also held for Nanetta Human Resources Department.
Thank you to Datin who initiated this program.

Bandar Seribegawan Saturday 23 December 2006. With others Sheraton Utama team member I joint blood donation campaign. This is my 7th time I joint blood donation since 2000. It was something very useful if you realize that every drop of blood can save somebody else life. 6 years ago I was one of million people who scared with needle or to donate blood and I believe there are many more out there to have the same feeling like me, scare of the needle and blood!But trust me if you think you can save somebody else life you will donate more more. So what are you waiting for be useful for this life and entire human in this world!! Once you try it you will definitely feel great. The blood donation is collaboration between Sheraton Utama Hotel and Raja history Hospital - Brunei Darussalam.

Creating Belong - Sheraton Utama Hotel Hari Raya Celebration by Sumantri

Bandar Seribegawan 9 November 2006. One of yearly activity held at Sheraton Utama Hotel Brunei Darussalam is celebrating Eidul Fitri or called " Hari Raya ". Inspired by

Padang style roof from Sumatra Indonesia which recently i went for holiday. We create "Minangkabau" roof. Word minangkabau means buffalo horn or the roof look like buffalo horn for our Hari Raya celebration decoration. Superb team lead by Asep from Housekeeping and help from other Department such as Engineering,laundry and kichen collaborate in achieving the same goal. Add with wall, ceiling and table decoration creating superb experience of each of associate at Sheraton Utama Hotel the Hari Raya Mood. Further more Food and Beverage prepared by Nova and the team from Kichen Department to add the value of celebration.

Hari Raya celebration or open house start at 11.15 am and end at 2 PM.The host my self, Ken from Kichen and Jaliha from Laundry lines up to welcome all associate. Followed by Doa Selamat by my self and Lunch. Attend during celebration all EXCOM except our General Manager who is not in town at the time. Additional of the program the Hari Raya music is also played and "Ngamen" Indonesian street musician style also play live by two Kichen associate Dadan and Faisal. Nearly 90 associates from Moslem and non Moslem are enjoying the celebration.
