KERABAT NUSANTARA an Indonesian Association of Brunei Darussalam joined The Procession with His Majesty The Sultan of Brunei Darussalam

Brunei, Bandar Seri Begawan 11th April 2006 – A hundred of KERABAT NUSANTARA, an Indonesian association of Brunei Darussalam lead by Bapak Ismaya Sukardi joined The Procession with His Majesty Sultan of Brunei Darussalam and other members of royal family as well as about 25.000 Bruneian from 154 teams on a 4, 3-kilometre procession around the Bandar Seri Begawan the capital city of Brunei Darussalam to mark Prophet Muhammad’s (pbuh) birthday anniversary.

The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by Speech by The Chairman of the Executive committee and prior to the procession, His Majesty the Sultan of Brunei Darussalam exchanged greeting with all teams followed by Zikir troupes. A 21-cannon blast followed. To bless the ceremony DOA was read by the state of Mufti. Present on the ceremony were also Royal family and Diplomatic corps in the Sultanate.

Some of 154 teams took part included KERABAT NUSANTARA an Indonesian Association of Brunei Darussalam this year is placed in number 115 among the team. They comprised the Police and Arm forces, Fire Brigades personnel, large groups of schools students and teachers, banks, government sectors and associations in the sultanate. The procession leads by His Majesty the Sultan of Brunei Darussalam in the 4,3 kilometre around capital.

About The KERABAT NUSANTARA is an Indonesian association which formed as a non Indonesian government organization (NGO) in Brunei Darussalam. The Association is progressively organize and overseeing the activities such as members of meeting, Social Welfare, Education and Human Resources Development, Information and Communication, Cultural Youth & Sport, Indonesia-Brunei Business Forum and Labor Development. All those activities provide for members and non members of association.
