Travel Experience article- Marakuching Hill- Brunei Darussalam

7 minutes drive from Sheraton Utama Hotel at Jalan tasek, Bandar Seri Begawan,located approximately 12 km from Bandar Seri Begawan, along Jalan Subok you will find signage " Selamat Datang Ke Kampunng Belimbing, Mendaki Bukit Markuching ".This signage parently is the old one, we found out only when we went back down from the top, not far from the first signage the large parking area as an entrance of Markuching Hill is located completed with Map and information board.
Markuching hill is new discovered area by Brunei resident who like walking brisk, not much people know about it, I knew it from friend of mine and from news paper.
To reach the hill top of Markuching is not easy and is not dificult as well, for the beginner you may need longer time to reach the top, since the journey to the hill top need to pass by a small hill, namely Jati hill, Sumboi-Sumboi hill etc there are 8 hill you need pass by.
Wild flowers.
Don't be suppressed if you find plenty of wild flowers in this juggle, if you are lucky you may will witness the blooming of these flowers, you will see from national Brunei flowers call " Simpur " to monkey cup or even fruits and a lot more, there are so much I didn't know the names.
My self and wife reach the top and enjoying the fresh air and few the jungle at the pondok provided ( small house )
