Travel Experience article -Witness Brunei marathon 2006 by Sumantri
Bandar Seribegawan, Sunday 10 December 2006. Me and my wife witness one of the biggest world sport calendar in the world "Brunei marathon 2006 ". As early as 5.00 am early morning the participants from local and around the world registered their name at padang Sir Omar Ali Saefuddin at the capital. There were variety of marathon classes fun run and 42 km few to name it. Big and grand International event support with over 2000 volunteers, support by government and local organization this even create a large marketing image to the country. Few things may require improvement, clear direction, Marshall line need to be improved most of the marathon participant complaint due to they feel run too long than suppose to be. However me and my wife enjoy it to witness this event and the best part is to witness the Amazing race by 2 runner tide with robe together and one of them is blind....Amazing race...........
